Elizabeth "Maggie" McLeod was the daughter of Wink and John McLeod of Greenville, South Carolina.

Maggie was a graduate of Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville. With the assistance of Partners for Care, and partnering ministry Glory Outreach Assembly, a school, named "Maggie's School", has been built in Kenya in Maggie's memory.

Maggie's Aunt, Connie Cheren, is founder of Partners for Care, a faith based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing Hope and Health in Kenya.
